Speaker - Nancy Poole

Nancy Poole works with the BC Women’s Hospital and the British Columbia Centre of Excellence for Women’s Health on research-related to policy, and service provision for women with substance use problems.

With Dr. Amy Salmon, she is a Co-Leader of a Network Action Team on FASD Prevention for the Canada Northwest FASD Research Network. She has co-edited a book with Dr. Lorraine Greaves, entitled Highs and Lows: Canadian Perspectives on Women and Substance Use, published by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Ontario. Nancy is well known for her collaborative work on FASD-related research, training and policy initiatives with governments and organizations on local, provincial, national, and international levels.
