Presenter - Branka Agic

Branka Agic received her Master of Health Science in Health Promotion at the University of Toronto and her medical degree from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. She is working toward her PhD in Health and Behavioural Sciences at the Department of Public Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.

Branka has extensive experience in research, program planning and community development with diverse communities. Over the past ten years, her academic and professional work has focused mostly on a link between cultural identification, mental health and substance use behaviour. Branka is currently working as a Community Health and Education Specialist with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.
