"Are You Being Played?"
This presentation is designed for youth from Grade 7 to 10 so that they may learn more about the effects of alcohol advertising on youth. Adaptations are made depending on the target age group. The workshop will be conducted in a casual atmosphere, encouraging audience involvement, discussion, and feedback throughout. Small and large group activities will be utilized to discuss the information presented and to find reasonable solutions to the problems associated with youth and drinking.
The ARAPO Interactive Display
This display is a life-size, stand-alone display that includes an interactive spinning wheel and trivia game that focuses on alcohol-related issues, such as advertising, liability, and impaired driving. The display has been used in the past at various student school events and conferences (e.g., NSAID day, or Racing Against Drugs).
