Trends in alcohol use by Ontario youth is of concern to public health professionals. The problems associated with youth alcohol use typically fall into one of the following categories:

  • Binge drinking
  • Underage drinking
  • Impaired driving
  • Preventable injuries
  • Alcohol marketing targeted at youth
