Educator's Toolkit on Alcohol Advertising for Grades 7 - 10

Alcohol advertising usually presents a fun and problem-free image of drinking. This can influence our attitudes and choices about alcohol, especially among children and youth. Since the media plays such a large and powerful role in our society, the Association to Reduce Alcohol Promotion in Ontario (ARAPO) has created the Under the Influence? Educator’s Toolkit that will assist you to discuss the issues of alcohol advertising and media literacy for grades 7 - 10 in an interactive way.
